We're offering free floats
to veterans in our community!
What is floating?
Floating consists of laying in 12 inches of water saturated with over 1,100lbs of Epsom salts and heated
to 94.5 degrees. The high levels of salt counteract the effects of gravity, allowing one to float gently
on top of the water creating the sensation of being suspended in air. Often called "Sensory Deprivation",
floating removes all external stimulation from the body, resulting in a highly relaxed state. The experience
allows for a safe and therapeutic environment in which veterans can experience significant relaxation and
even process past trauma.
What can floating do for me?
Floating is proven to lower cortisol, our primary stress hormone. It alleviates mental and physical stress and
symptoms of PTSD; increases dopamine and endorphins to enhance mood and improve happiness; improves sleep, reduces
fatigue and relieves pain. For more information and a full list of benefits, visit
